The US Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, said Friday morning on its Facebook page that a “shooter” had been “flagged” in its compound, whose entries were “secured” accordingly.
The shooting comes two days after an American sailor shot dead two people and wounded a third on the shipyard at the Pearl Harbor military base in Hawaii before committing suicide.
