There’s a month left and nothing will stop the Clio IV from grabbing the trophy for the best-selling used car of the year. At the end of November 2019, the city of the diamond brand totaled 138,883 owner changes, 17.6% more than last year, on the one hand, and 12,000 units ahead of the Peugeot 208 of somewhere else. Yet the lioness has challenged the leadership in the last month.

In November, the Peugeot 208 gained 7.3%, against 2.7% growth for the Clio IV. In fact, it accounted for 11,293 transactions, when the Renault was at 11,751 units. A competition that knows a highlight, before the final gong. Note that cumulative months, the Peugeot flies 20.6%, compared to last year, with 126 092 hand changes.

Behind the 206 and 207 remain their respective dynamics, namely that the first saw its sales contract (-4.2%), when the second still attracts customers (+ 5.2%). As for the Clio III, it dropped by 1.4%, to almost 8 100 units. The best performance of the first 11 months of fiscal 2019, in this Top 10, is to credit the 308 second generation. With 90,631 vehicles recirculated, it shows an increase of 23.7%.

At the bottom of the ranking, the Golf and Polo are bogged down. At 7,765 handshakes, the Volkswagen Golf is sinking (-0.7%) and experiencing an 8.4% drop in volumes, in 2019. The Polo returned 3.9% in November and lost 5.9 % of cumulative months.
