It's a "Start-Up" company consisting of both Techinical and Business Experts all having a dedicated role to play within GTO Limited.
GTO Limted is a new generation of independent energy company created to find and develop oil and gas reserves in the North Sea. The company has eight UK promote blocks (as operator), and is non operator of nine blocks offshore the Netherlands containing a mixture of appraisal and exploration targets.

With the maturing of the oil and gas industry in the North Sea, many larger, integrated energy companies are restructuring their portfolios away from this part of the world. This shift is creating operating opportunities for smaller players with the technical capabilities to profitably exploit the remaining reserves. GTO Limted is one of the first companies created to tap into the potential of the North Sea.
